"There is strong global demand for Russia’s energy resources," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He noted that Russia is conducting negotiations on energy supplies abroad to ensure the situation aligns with Moscow’s interests.
Peskov emphasized that amid the worsening crisis in the Middle East, Russia has received a large number of requests for energy resources from alternative sources.
“You know, we are in contact with Serbia and Hungary, but of course, the world is now confidently entering a fairly serious economic and energy crisis, and the scale of this crisis is growing day by day. Naturally, market conditions in the energy sector have completely changed. There have been many requests for our energy resources from alternative sources.
We are holding negotiations. We are conducting negotiations in a way that best suits our interests,” the Kremlin spokesperson added.
