Emmanuel Addai, the 24-year-old winger from Qarabag FK, is attracting significant interest from multiple European clubs as he approaches the end of his contract this summer.
Axar.az reports, citing Football Insider, several British clubs are reportedly eyeing the free transfer, while Eintracht Frankfurt remains interested after having a previous offer rejected in the winter window, and Napoli is also monitoring his situation.
Addai recently impressed in Qarabag’s Champions League playoff matches against Newcastle United and has been pivotal in helping the club reach the Azerbaijani Cup semi-finals.
This season, he has scored in both domestic and European competitions, including a goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League. Statistically, he averages 1.1 shots per game (0.5 on target), a 9% goal conversion rate, creates one chance per match, and maintains 78% passing accuracy, while also contributing defensively with 2.2 recoveries and 0.5 tackles per game.
Addai is expected to be called up to Ghana’s squad for the upcoming World Cup, potentially facing England in the group stages.
