Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone call on Saturday to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
Axar.az reports, citing IRNA, during the conversation, Pezeshkian called for an immediate halt to military attacks by the United States and Israel and emphasized the need for guarantees that such attacks would not recur.
Pezeshkian also expressed Iran’s willingness to engage in dialogue and allow monitoring of its peaceful nuclear activities.
Prime Minister Modi expressed concern over escalating tensions in West Asia, condemned attacks on energy infrastructure, and stressed the importance of maintaining security in the Strait of Hormuz and freedom of navigation in the Gulf.
Both leaders underlined the importance of pursuing peace in the region.
