A photo collage showing a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) J-10 fighter jet marked with silhouettes of downed enemy aircraft has gained traction across Chinese social media platforms, sparking nationalist pride over the jet's performance.
The image shows the Chengdu J-10C(P) adorned with kill markings depicting five aircraft and one drone allegedly shot down, Caliber.Az reports.
The tally includes three Indian Air Force Dassault Rafale fighters, a MiG-29, a Su-30MKI, and one unmanned aerial vehicle.
Chinese users have expressed pride that the domestically produced J-10, operated by skilled Pakistani pilots, has demonstrated strong combat effectiveness without losses. The viral collage is being held up as a symbol of the growing capabilities of China’s defence and aviation industries.
The PAF formally inducted the J-10C into its fleet in 2022 as part of efforts to bolster its air combat strength amid rising tensions in the region.
