An agreement on cultural cooperation for 2024-2027 was signed between Armenia and Iran.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, said this during a meeting with the Chairman of Iran's Cultural and Islamic Relations Organization, Mohammad Mehdi Imanpour, who is on a visit to Yerevan.

"Cultural cooperation occupies a special place in the interaction between Yerevan and Tehran," Andreasyan said.

During the meeting, a number of other issues related to the further strengthening of relations between Armenia and Iran in the field of education and science were also discussed.
