Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said US intelligence sharing with Ukraine, which was briefly interrupted, has resumed, helping Kyiv track incoming Russian ballistic missiles.
Axar.az reports that, in an interview with NBC News, Zelensky said the interruption had left Ukraine without intelligence about incoming ballistic missiles for several days. He added that the issue had now been resolved, although Ukraine continued to face restrictions on its use of Starshield, the military version of Starlink.
“We are very thankful for this. Now it works,” Zelensky said.
European and Ukrainian officials previously told NBC News that they believed the intelligence-sharing restrictions were intended to pressure Kyiv into making concessions in peace negotiations with Russia.
