Turkish FM and US Secretary of State discussed the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, APA reports, citing Haber Global.

According to the report, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia was discussed during the meeting.

During the contacts, it was stated that both sides openly demonstrated their political will to remove obstacles to cooperation in the field of defense industry and that technical meetings would be held to resolve existing problems.

The parties emphasized the importance of contact with the Syrian administration. Determination was expressed in ensuring stability in Syria and fighting terrorism.

The importance of establishing a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and that this issue is necessary for regional peace were emphasized.

Efforts to achieve a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine were discussed. It was stated that the US's efforts in this regard were supported.

The work related to the visits to be carried out at the level of the head of state in the coming period was discussed.

It was emphasized that the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina is of great importance for the Balkans.
