Azerbaijani badminton players have captured silver medals in two categories at the Future Series international tournament held in Venezuela.
Ulvi Huseynov reached the men’s singles final after defeating competitors from Venezuela, Brazil, and Mexico. In the final match for the gold medal, he was bested by a British player, earning a silver medal.
In the mixed doubles event, the duo of Ulvi Huseynov and Leyla Jamalzade advanced to the final after overcoming teams from Venezuela and Mexico. However, they were defeated by a Mexican pair in the title match, also securing silver medals in this category.
